Can their passion and love survive the dark while waiting for the light?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Excerpt: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat the hell?\u201d&nbsp; Alyssa said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t see the point in any of this.&nbsp; This is ridiculous.&nbsp; Are you really doing this on the stage while you sing?\u201d&nbsp; He was back to being closed off.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo you dumbass.&nbsp; This is my workout.&nbsp; It is really good for the core and thighs.&nbsp; Those I will be using a lot on tour.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He shrugged.&nbsp; \u201cI don\u2019t see how this is effective.&nbsp; Anyone can swing themselves around a pole.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cReally?&nbsp; Anyone?\u201d&nbsp; Wendy asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnyone.\u201d&nbsp; He snapped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wendy looked at Alyssa and walked over to her own duffle bag.&nbsp; When she turned around she held up a pair of really large clear heels.&nbsp; \u201cProve it.\u201d &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rex looked at Alyssa then to Wendy.&nbsp; He yanked his t-shirt off but kept his shorts on.&nbsp; Taking the pair of heels, he sat in the previously used chair to change out shoes.&nbsp; The whole time Alyssa watched him she wasn\u2019t sure what to think.&nbsp; His stone mask didn\u2019t break once while putting on the heels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis will have to do.&nbsp; I can\u2019t get the clasp.\u201d&nbsp; He stood and wobbled on the heels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Catching his balance he walked a bit easier.&nbsp; Hell he looked more comfortable in the heels than Alyssa had.&nbsp; Just for that she hated him.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s fine.&nbsp; Now, Mr. Anyone can do it, do this.\u201d&nbsp; Wendy mounted the pole doing a simple swing with her legs out stretched.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rex nodded and mimicked exactly what she did.&nbsp; Alyssa was impressed for a moment.&nbsp; Then it all fell apart.&nbsp; Rex\u2019s loose shoe wiggled off his foot as he spun a bit too quickly.&nbsp; In a split second, the shoe was airborne.&nbsp; Alyssa dodged the missile but instead of hitting her it hit the wall.&nbsp; When she dared to look at the wall she saw the one clear heel lodged into the wall.&nbsp; Quickly, she ran over to her bag, grabbed her phone and snapped a photo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Blurb: Alyssa Owens has been directionless.
