Hi Maven, and thanks for having me as a guest on your blog today. I\u2019d like to share with everyone my list of This or That. I hope you all have some fun reading it, and maybe thinking about your own answers.<\/p>\n

Black or White?<\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m a bit of both, actually. When it comes to my clothing, most of my tops are black or white. I\u2019m a jeans and T-shirt kind of girl, so I usually go for something that has a funky print. For instance, at the moment I\u2019m wearing a white T-shirt with a rainbow Mickey Mouse on the front. I\u2019m quirky like that.<\/p>\n

Cats or Dogs?<\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m definitely a cat person. Unfortunately, I can\u2019t have one as my husband is allergic to them. He\u2019s so bad that when we moved in together, I had to give my cat away to my parents. We now have a rabbit instead. I can tolerate dogs if they aren\u2019t all jumpy and in your face. My parents have a beautiful border collie and I love him, but he can stay at their place.<\/p>\n

Coke or Pepsi?<\/b><\/p>\n

Definitely Coke \u2013 Pepsi doesn\u2019t quite taste right. I used to be quite addicted to Coke. I was drinking at least a can a day, but I managed to stop that and now only have it once in a while. It\u2019s so bad for you, but it tastes so good!<\/p>\n

TV or Movies<\/b><\/p>\n

I like both, but I lean more towards movies. I don\u2019t sit down and watch TV just for the sake of it. There has to be something on that I really want to watch. If the TV is on my husband is usually flicking channels, so I use the time to read instead. Although, I would drop everything to watch Buffy\u2014I could watch that nonstop on a continuous loop for days, even weeks, which is possible as I have them all on DVD.<\/p>\n

Harry Potter or Twilight<\/b><\/p>\n

I would have to say both with this one, too. But Harry Potter<\/i> would come first. I fell in love with the boy wizard long before Edward Cullen was on the scene, and I adore J. K. Rowling\u2019s writing. Twilight<\/i> has a place in my heart as well as I love the story. I think both of them are so different from each other that it\u2019s not really all that fair to compare them. They are from entirely different worlds, and each deserves its own podium to stand on.<\/p>\n

Hot or Cold?<\/b><\/p>\n

I really hate the cold. I\u2019m a warm weather person and love getting around in singlet tops and thongs. I am an Aussie! We don\u2019t get very cold winters in Sydney compared to other parts of the world\u2014we definitely don\u2019t get snow where I am\u2014but I still struggle through the winter months. I hate it when you have to get all rugged up, and then you run somewhere and get all hot and sweaty, then you freeze because the cold makes your sweat colder. Yuck!<\/p>\n

Introvert or Extrovert?<\/b><\/p>\n

I\u2019m somewhere in the middle. When I\u2019m with my close friends I can be pretty out there. They know I\u2019m a bit weird and crazy, and I\u2019m comfortable with them so I can just be myself. But when I\u2019m around strangers, or meeting someone for the first time, I get nervous and sometimes want to run and hide. I also have a tendency to say stupid things, so a lot of people think I\u2019m a nut bag.<\/p>\n

City or Country?<\/b><\/p>\n

Well, I sort of live in the city. I\u2019m out in the suburbs on the edge of what\u2019s considered metro Sydney, so it\u2019s nice and green and leafy. No high-rise. But, my parents live in the \u2018real\u2019 country, and every time I go there I don\u2019t want to leave. I much prefer the wide open space and clean air of the country side, than the noise and dirt of Sydney. In saying that though, I love visiting the city every now and then, but I could never live there.<\/p>\n

Print or eBook?<\/b><\/p>\n

Up until recently I would have said print only. I love the way a book feels in my hands, the smell of the paper and the act of turning the page. I also love to stand and stare at my bookcase, and I quite often take a book down just to look at the beautiful cover. Then I got an iPad for my birthday last year and I discovered the ease of an eBook. I think each has a place and a different purpose, so I\u2019m all for both now.<\/p>\n

Review:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fall for Me<\/em> was a wonderfully inventive Young Adult book.\u00a0 The book’s concept is a great mix of paranormal and romance.\u00a0 Grace’s turmoil over the choices she has to make take teenage angst to a whole other level.\u00a0 Who would have thought that first love could be so life changing.\u00a0 In this case its life altering.\u00a0 I really enjoyed the love story between the different couples, Josh and Grace, Ryan and Emma, Grace and Seth and Archer and Charlotte.\u00a0 What complicates the love story more so than any normal teenage complication is the addition of angels, vampires and vampire hunters.\u00a0 K.A Last does a phenomenal job weaving a great story with memorable characters.\u00a0 After finishing the book I can’t wait for the next.\u00a0 When reading this book be sure to be ready for some heart-break that we can only hope will be resolved in the next book.<\/p>\n
