Halton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Friday Everyone!\u00a0 Hope everyone has had a great week and looking forward to a wonderful weekend.\u00a0 A weekend where we can celebrate Father&#8217;s whether they are biological, adoptive, animal or any other type of father figure.\u00a0 So to kick of a hopefully wonderful weekend for everyone I am spotlighting Linn B. Halton and her book <em>Never Alone<\/em>.\u00a0 If you are a follower you know that I review a lot of books.\u00a0 There for I have seen just about everything.\u00a0 But, I must say Linn B. Halton surprised me with her ending.\u00a0 It was a wonderful ending that you aren&#8217;t expecting.\u00a0 Be sure to check out the rest of my review after the book blurb.\u00a0 And, for all of the Children, Grandchildren and Pet children be sure and go give that father figure in your life a great big hug and wish them all a Happy Father&#8217;s Day!<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/06\/16281165.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1611\" alt=\"16281165\" src=\"http:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/06\/16281165.jpg?w=200\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Book Blurb: (Courtesy of Goodreads)<\/h3>\n<p>Life is all about the choices we make\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Holly is the envy of all her friends; she has lived with the gorgeous Will for five years. Suddenly her perfect life begins to unravel\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a gift to be shown something that allows you to make a difference and alter the outcome of someone else\u2019s life. However, the weight of the responsibility that goes along with that is huge and what about the ethics? The thing I have to ask myself is how did my actions change the future?\u201d Holly Elizabeth Atherton<\/p>\n<h3>Review:<\/h3>\n<p><em>Never Alone<\/em> begins with meeting Holly Atherton.\u00a0 Holly is a twenty something living a very good life with her boyfriend of five years.\u00a0 Both are in lucrative careers and they have the world before them.\u00a0 That is until Holly, who has always been naturally intuitive, experiences something so strong while showing a house it frightens her.\u00a0 This extremely strong psychic experience starts Holly down a path she was not prepared to go down.\u00a0 She begins to be intrigued by her experiences that grow by the day and this throws a huge obstacle in her boyfriend&#8217;s and family&#8217;s plans.\u00a0 Though she explores this portion of her life she begins to see her life in two parts.\u00a0 This is a challenge.\u00a0 Her life that was once perfect gets more and more complicated.\u00a0 She doesn&#8217;t even know if she wants to continue down this path or divert to a new and unknown path.\u00a0 If Holly does choose to leave the comfort and success of her planned\u00a0 future to something unknown is she ready and able to make that choice?<\/p>\n<p>I thoroughly enjoyed this book.\u00a0 It really drew me in.\u00a0 It was like a little roller coaster.\u00a0 Every time Holly learned something new about herself you really could empathize with her.\u00a0 Holly was so well written you could easily find yourself stepping into her shoes.\u00a0 I have to say I loved her friendship with Celia.\u00a0 She is the best friend all women want.\u00a0 I liked Will at first but no amount of 6 pack abs could make you overlook his severe personality problems.\u00a0 I also enjoyed the settings.\u00a0 How the story moved\u00a0 to different places in England then highlighting the differences between England and L.A was fantastic.\u00a0 Overall, I really liked this book.\u00a0 It was a good story with a wonderful twist in the end.\u00a0 And no amount of twisting my arm will make me give it away.\u00a0 Go out and read it!\u00a0 You will love it just like me.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"http:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/06\/4619822.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1610\" alt=\"4619822\" src=\"http:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/06\/4619822.jpg?w=199\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Author Bio: (Courtesy of Goodreads)<\/h3>\n<p>A Loveahappyending Lifestyle feature editor <a href=\"http:\/\/loveahappyending.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/loveahappyending.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Life is a journey; it seems long but in reality it flashes by in a series of moments and memories. I have found that age does bring a kind of \u2018wisdom\u2019. Hopefully I have learnt lessons over the years from the mistakes I have made and the personal tragedies and triumphs that have littered the path I chose to wander. Were there shortcuts on the way? Very often there probably were, but whether I recognised them or simply sidestepped them, unwilling to be deterred from the path I had in my sights, I can\u2019t honestly say. What I do know is that the path I have travelled is my path, chosen by me, unique and often obscure, reflecting personal traits I cannot hide; for they make me the person I am today.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing ones\u2019 written work is a dual edged sword; bitter sweet. It can feel as if you are baring your soul and you have to trust that the people you end up sharing those words with, will understand that. The more you write, the wider the audience you seek. When I write my aim is simple; I seek to strike a chord in the reader\u2019s heart.
