Review:<\/h3>\n

As most of you know I don’t normally read and review too many suspense novels.\u00a0 I’ve never been a person into the John Grisham\u00a0and Dan Brown kinda suspense\/ thriller books.\u00a0 But, when Jerrie asked me to review another of her books I couldn’t pass it up.\u00a0 I’m so glad I didn’t.\u00a0 The Last Execution<\/em>\u00a0takes us on a wild ride through Atlanta chasing a vigilante sniper.\u00a0We soon learn that it’s not\u00a0just the sniper we have to worry about.\u00a0We must also face\u00a0Leigh’s ex-boyfriend\/rapist\/stalker.\u00a0\u00a0With two villains comes two parallel storylines held together by JT\u00a0and Leigh.\u00a0 For most writers this would be a very tricky task to pull off.\u00a0 Not only does Jerrie\u00a0give us the view points of Leigh and JT\u00a0but she also puts us in the minds of\u00a0the vigilante and the\u00a0rapist out for revenge.\u00a0 Reading this review you may be thinking this could get to be a complicated read.\u00a0\u00a0 Don’t doubt there were times I had a take a small breather and recap for myself who was who and what they were doing.\u00a0\u00a0 But that is to be expected in such a complex story.\u00a0It wasn’t just the suspense that was\u00a0well-managed\u00a0but the love story was built-in\u00a0very genuinely and believably.\u00a0 It would have been very easy for the love story to have just been thrown into the mix, but Jerrie\u00a0weaves it throughout the story with wonderful fireworks and climaxes (pun intended \ud83d\ude42 ).\u00a0 I also loved that the characters and storyline was so believable.\u00a0 I felt that Leigh’s character, though weepy with JT, pulled off what a modern woman working in a law enforcement position would do and how she would act.\u00a0 Also, the story of the vigilante sniper I think was so real it could have been pulled from the headlines.\u00a0 Overall, The Last Execution<\/em>\u00a0is one book you are going to want to snatch up.\u00a0 Once you read it you will want to read more by Jerrie Alexander.\u00a0 She is easily becoming one of my favorite suspense writers!<\/p>\n
