 The Star Catcher by Stephanie Keyes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have had the awesome pleasure of getting a very advanced readers copy for the final book in The Star Child Trilogy.\u00a0<em>The Star Catcher<\/em>\u00a0is so\u00a0new it isn&#8217;t even on Goodreads yet, but yours truly got\u00a0her greedy little hands on a copy and I&#8217;m going to share what you can expect. \u00a0Stephanie Keyes has definitely become one of my favorite authors and she did wonders for summing up her trilogy.<\/p>\n<p>First off if you are new to Stephanie Keyes&#8217; work you may want to read my previous reviews of\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/p2is8i-du\">The Star Child (Book One)<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/wp.me\/p2is8i-po\">The Fallen Stars (Book Two)<\/a>\u00a0before reading any further.\u00a0 I try not to give spoilers with my reviews but sometimes its unavoidable.<\/p>\n<p>Ok, now onto The Star Catcher.\u00a0 <em>The Star Catcher<\/em>\u00a0picks up exactly where The Fallen Stars ends.\u00a0 Cali and Kellen are separated and unsure how they will ever reunite if ever.\u00a0 Along with Cali being missing a new aspect of Gabe, Kellen&#8217;s best friend, comes to light.\u00a0 He is not only Kellen&#8217;s best friend anymore.\u00a0 He is much more and has always been a part of Kellen&#8217;s life even if Kellen was unknowing.\u00a0 It is up to Kellen and Gabe to figure out who has Cali and how to find her.\u00a0 With a missive from above, guidance is provided.\u00a0 Kellen and Gabe must find Cali&#8217;s now mortal sister, Rowan.\u00a0 She has the answers that they seek.\u00a0 When Kellen and Gabe find Rowan they also find Rowan&#8217;s daughter, Singer.\u00a0 Instantly, Gabe knows and understands\u00a0how Kellen feels about Cali when he meets Singer.<\/p>\n<p>Once Kellan, Gabe, Rowan and Singer team up they each have a set of goals.\u00a0 Gabe and Singer must find Cali and Rowan and Kellen must decide whether Kellen will continue on with his humanity or choose to become a God.\u00a0When Cali is rescued Kellen and Cali finally seal the deal (get married) and enjoy one blissful night together.\u00a0\u00a0Unfortunately due to\u00a0an impending war started by\u00a0The Star Catcher the five of them must continue into\u00a0Fairy.\u00a0\u00a0Kellen finds out that from the power of his\u00a0amulet he can\u00a0now do many things he\u00a0once couldn&#8217;t.\u00a0 In fact it is within\u00a0him to find his father, lift the curse of the C.O.D\u00a0(Children of Danu) and defeat\u00a0the Star Catcher.\u00a0 Though this is now within Kellan&#8217;s means it\u00a0doesn&#8217;t mean he can do\u00a0it alone.\u00a0 He must rely on not only his powers but those of the people around him.\u00a0 Kellen must also learn to utilize and control\u00a0his new power and to think less logically and more with instinct.\u00a0In the end,\u00a0 sacrifices will be made and tears will be shed but in the end the ultimate question is will good triumph over evil or will both the human and fairy worlds be destroyed?<\/p>\n<p>I loved this book.\u00a0 It may even be my favorite in the trilogy, but then again I am very much like Kellen and like to know the answers to things.\u00a0 Stephanie Keyes does a phenomenal job of developing her characters.\u00a0 If you have read this series so far you will\u00a0know that Kellen alone changes both physically and mentally in both books, but it is in this book that his greatest changes happen.\u00a0 I loved seeing more of Gabe.\u00a0 His role becomes very pivotal in this book and he falls into place seamlessly.\u00a0 Cali, though originally a God, we see much of her new humanity and with that a depth to her character that you can relate to.\u00a0 Rowan and Singer are the newbies in this book and extremely important to this book&#8217;s story.\u00a0 Their addition is flawless and very natural.\u00a0 The Star Catcher is everything you would want in a final book in a trilogy.\u00a0 It isn&#8217;t rushed or forced.\u00a0 The story ebbs and flows naturally and ties up all the loose ends.\u00a0 Overall, this book is wonderfully written and is one of the best endings in a trilogy I have seen in a while.\u00a0 Stephanie Keyes did justice to the story, the characters and the world she created.\u00a0 Her fans will not be disappointed with how the story wraps up.\u00a0 I think I speak for all the fans of this story that the characters will be missed, but I know Stephanie will come up with something even bigger and better.\u00a0 In the immortal words of Gabe, Stephanie &#8220;you are a total rock star.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately at the time of this review I am unsure of the publication release date, but the Cover Reveal is in October.\u00a0 Check back here for
