He actually likes my red hair and freckles. I might forgive him for kidnapping me.<\/p>\n<p>My name is Gavyn.<\/p>\n<p>I lost my Liam. I\u2019ve lost them all. And now it\u2019s my job to make sure they don\u2019t show up again.<\/p>\n<p>My name is Gavyn.<\/p>\n<p>I had a life with Liam, but he couldn\u2019t give me what I need. Then I killed his father. I don\u2019t expect he\u2019ll forgive me for that.<\/p>\n<p>My name is Gavyn<\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>We first meet Gavyn\u00a0on a snow day.\u00a0 A day where you don&#8217;t have to do anything but curl under your covers.\u00a0 Gavyn&#8217;s\u00a0peace is disturbed when\u00a0 she hears thumps outside her door.\u00a0 Soon a hot guy comes bursting through the door and transports her to another world.\u00a0 Gavyn\u00a0immediately thins she is dreaming.\u00a0 But, this is no dream.\u00a0 Liam, the hot guy, begins to explain to Gavyn\u00a0about multiple worlds with multiple Gavyn&#8217;s\u00a0and multiple Liam&#8217;s.\u00a0 When Gavyn\u00a0shifts from these worlds while being chased she begins to discover she is only Gavyn\u00a0with one arm.\u00a0 As Gavyn\u00a0and Liam travel more worlds they become closer and begin to fall in love.\u00a0 When they finally get to the destination that has caused all the trouble in most of the worlds it looks hopeless for all involved.\u00a0 When all hope seems lost the unexpected happens and Gavyn&#8217;s\u00a0already upside down world becomes even more so.\u00a0 In the end will Gavyn find her way back to her world and can she continue on when she is so different?<\/p>\n<p>This was a wonderfully unique story.\u00a0 It was inventive and I loved the dimensions the Kacey\u00a0Vanderkarr\u00a0brings to both the story and her characters.\u00a0 This is definitely a story that draws you in and won&#8217;t let you go.\u00a0 The story is fast paced and doesn&#8217;t slow down until you get to the end.\u00a0 The love story between Gavyn\u00a0and Liam is also very cute and a lovely addition.\u00a0 Gavyn&#8217;s\u00a0character is one of a kind.\u00a0 She is born handicapped yet is functional.\u00a0 Though clearly at the beginning her self-esteem is low it truly begins to grow and brings a new depth to her character.\u00a0 I think Gavyn&#8217;s character alone could make this a must read but it ends up being just one piece in a spectacular story.\u00a0 I would highly recommend this book for all those of\u00a0you who\u00a0like a\u00a0unique story in a young adult genre.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For this week&#8217;s young adult spotlight I have the privilege to share with you an awesome book with a unique story.\u00a0 Kacey\u00a0Vanderkarr&#8217;s Antithesis is refreshing and inventive.\u00a0 It draws you in and won&#8217;t let you go.\u00a0 For my entire review be sure to check it out after the book blurb.
