The game\u2019s over, no second chances.\u00a0 But she was never one to follow all the rules.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In a strange twist of fate, a woman flees purgatory only to jump into a newly vacated body. A mysterious man who claims to be Death says she\u2019s his granddaughter and that she\u2019s something called a grimm.<\/p>\n<p>Sully knows she\u2019s an imposter because he reaped the soul of the real Micah only a week ago. He suspects she might be a misplaced shadow, what he calls spirits and vengeful ghosts. He becomes obsessed with finding out who she really is and just how she inhabited a new body.\u00a0 He\u2019ll stop at nothing to find the truth and send her back to purgatory where she belongs. What he didn\u2019t bargain on was how his body would react to her or how\u00a0 powerful the white light within her is.<\/p>\n<p>When a powerful shadow and her horde of angry spirits kidnaps Sully\u2019s best friend, they must work together to get him back. Fighting their feelings for each other isn\u2019t half as difficult as fighting the army of shadows bent on starting a war with the living.<\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>We first meet our heroine when she dies.\u00a0 She follows a doorway into what appears to be a waiting room that no one expected her to be in.\u00a0 Though she can&#8217;t remember her name she does know that she doesn&#8217;t want to be dead.\u00a0 So, in an act of rebellion she runs back through the door and jumps into a now empty body.\u00a0 She is now Micah Munroe.\u00a0 She sees what Micah&#8217;s life was like and decides that if this was going to be her new home then she had to revamp everything about her life.\u00a0 While Micah is trying to become what she once was she inadvertently runs into Sully.\u00a0 Sully recognizes Micah because it was only a while ago that he reaper her soul.\u00a0 She should not be standing in front of him breathing.\u00a0 It soon becomes Sully&#8217;s mission to find out who or what Micah is and what her plans are.\u00a0 The only problem is spending more time with her is making him feel things he shouldn&#8217;t be.\u00a0 While\u00a0Micah and Sully draw closer she soon discovers that she isn&#8217;t just an ordinary soul starting over, she is a grimm.\u00a0 She is charged with fighting, removing or guiding shadows through the light so that they may go to their hereafter.\u00a0 Micah&#8217;s life isn&#8217;t just new it&#8217;s completely different and with a sexy man at her side how can she not try to live life to its fullest.\u00a0 But, with death there is never an easy road.\u00a0 With the shadows wanting her and her feelings for Sully growing how can things work out for the best without her dying or worse becoming a shadow herself?<\/p>\n<p>This was a great story.
