Cooper.\u00a0 This is a wonderful historical romance.\u00a0 It isn&#8217;t filled with erotic moments but the hero will seduce you just like he does the heroine.\u00a0 Be sure to check out my full review after the book blurb.\u00a0 I hope you all have a wonderful start to your week!<\/p>\n<h2>Book Blurb:<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/01\/18104475.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-2100\" alt=\"roses2\" src=\"http:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2014\/01\/18104475.jpg?w=195\" width=\"156\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a>856 CE, Ireland is a land of myth, magic, and blood. Viking raiders have fought the Irish for over half a century. Rival Irish clans promise only betrayal and carnage.<\/p>\n<p>Kaireen, daughter of Laird Liannon, is suddenly forced into an arranged marriage with her sworn enemy, a Viking. She refuses to submit. With no mention of love, only land and the protection of her clan, she endeavors to get her betrothed banished from her country. Will love find its way around her stubborn heart?<\/p>\n<p>Bram, the Viking, finds himself without future or inheritance as a younger son in his family. A marriage to the Laird\u2019s daughter would grant him land if he swears fidelity and if his men will fight along with the Liannons against any foe\u2014Irish or Viking. However, the Laird\u2019s feisty daughter only holds animosity for him and his kind. Is marriage worth the battle scars of such a relentless opponent?<\/p>\n<p>With the blame for a rival laird\u2019s death treacherously set against the Liannons, Kaireen and Bram must find a way to lay aside their differences as an unforeseen darkness sends death snapping at their heels.<\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Kaireen refuses to follow her father&#8217;s command and marry a Viking.\u00a0 Kaireen makes it abundantly clear that she would rather do anything but marry the Viking.\u00a0 Though she feistily refuses Bram, the Viking, starts weasel his way into her life and her heart.\u00a0 Through a series of perilous situations Kaireen begins to see Bram in new lights and longs for those kisses that he sneaks when she is caught off guard.\u00a0 Bram doesn&#8217;t give up on Kaireen so easily.\u00a0 She may push him away but he feels the heat in her kisses.\u00a0 It isn&#8217;t until Bram and her family are threatened by a rival clan when Kaireen sees her hearts true desire and must do all she can to make sure her fate leads her that way.<\/p>\n<p>This was a great little historical romance.\u00a0 I thought the love story was fairly true to the historical aspect.\u00a0 Kaireen and Bram&#8217;s relationship was fun to read and very well written.\u00a0 The strife between clans and the Vikings was also well done.\u00a0 This was fairly historically accurate and did a wonderful job of taking this part of history and setting a story in which you grow to care for the characters and hope all works out for them.\u00a0 I think Andrea Cooper did a great job with this story.\u00a0 I hope she continues in with this clan.\u00a0 I&#8217;d like to see more of this family and especially Bram&#8217;s brawny brothers.\u00a0 If\u00a0you&#8217;d enjoy a good historical romance and want a quick read (I read this in a day) then you will definitely want to pick up <em>Viking Fire<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Monday!\u00a0 For those of you celebrating today is also Martin Luther King Day in the U.S.\u00a0 Today for those of you who have off or it&#8217;s just another Monday I am spotlighting Viking Fire by Andrea R.
