Welcome to Day Three of review fest.\u00a0 Today I have a sexy BBW romance for you, Dangerous Curves Ahead<\/em> by Sugar Jamison.\u00a0 It not just a good romance with some really steamy scenes but it is a good story with solid characters that draw you in and keep you flowing with the story.\u00a0 I know once you read my review you’ll be running out to pick this book up.\u00a0 Be sure to read my full review after the book blurb.\u00a0 Also, don’t forget the giveaway is still going strong you don’t want to miss out on the awesome prizes.<\/p>\n

Ellis Garrett is dumping her critical boyfriend, opening a plus-size clothing store, and starting a blog\u2014all to spread the word that fashion shouldn\u2019t require a size-two body, and happiness should allow for the occasional cupcake. Or two. But is indulging fantasies about her sister\u2019s long-ago ex, the still-hunky Michael Edwards, biting off more than she can chew?<\/p>\n

Mike must be losing his detective\u2019s touch. He doesn\u2019t recognize Ellis when he bumps into her at Size Me Up, and he certainly doesn\u2019t remember his ex-girlfriend\u2019s outspoken sister being so irresistible. Her curves are indeed dangerous\u2014and so is her wit. Could it be that Ellis is his Perfect Fit? One thing\u2019s for sure: Mike will make it his sworn duty to find out\u2026<\/p>\n

Review:<\/h2>\n

Ellis has moved back to her home town to open a plus size clothing shop.\u00a0 One day when she is out getting a cookie she happens to bump into her sister’s ex who just happens to be her fantasy man\/crush she’s had for years.\u00a0 When Mike doesn’t recognize her Ellis makes it her mission to avoid him and when seeing him to be snide and remind him how he doesn’t remember her.\u00a0 Even though Ellis is pushing Mike and his advances away she can’t help but see the sexy detective as a possible fantasy come to life.\u00a0 While Ellis is trying all she can to derail Mike’s attempts she is also bothered by her ex and his aunt.\u00a0 He feels entitled to her and will do anything he can to make her his again.\u00a0 After Ellis finally let’s Mike in their feelings get tested by her insecurities and Mike’s fear of commitment.\u00a0 Can these two really come together or will Ellis be left on her big fashionable butt.<\/p>\n

I really liked this romance.\u00a0 I’ve gotten into the BBW romance genre and I find it really hits its mark.\u00a0 Not only because I am BBW but I think it can resonate with a lot of women who are not the supermodels that a lot of the novels portray.\u00a0 I felt like Sugar Jamison did a wonderful job making Ellis both entertaining and charming while keeping her emotions and insecurities.\u00a0 I also loved that Mike saw so much more than her figure and he even liked her figure.\u00a0 The characters in this book were wonderfully written and very funny.\u00a0 I enjoy when the supporting characters add some comic relief to a story and Colin, Cherry and Belinda did just that.\u00a0 I found that I also liked the bit of suspense that was added in.\u00a0 It gave the story a little spice and really added a nice element.\u00a0 Overall, I liked this story and I cant wait to read more.\u00a0 I think this story will resonate with a lot of women and if not it will at least make them laugh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
