However, Bianca Ravenwood, Lenni\u2019s best friend and self-proclaimed witch in training, is less than thrilled. In fact, she\u2019s cursing mad, vowing to destroy Molly while honing her craft in the halls of Redbend High School.<br \/>\nMolly\u2019s new school becomes a waking nightmare as Bianca, beautiful wannabe witch, targets her in a jealous rage. Plagued by terrifying, inexplicable occurrences and an embarrassing case of panic-induced hiccups, Molly is unable to escape Bianca\u2019s snare.<br \/>\nBut if Bianca refuses to back down and Molly refuses to stand up, not only will Molly lose the best friend she\u2019s ever had\u2026she may also lose her sanity.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Bianca is a wannabe witch or a witcha&#8217;be.\u00a0 When Molly finds this out she becomes terrified of Bianca.\u00a0 Her best friend Lenni is also best friends with Bianca.\u00a0 This poses a problem when Molly realizes Bianca hates her and has it out for her.\u00a0 Molly soon becomes convinced that Bianca is casting spells against her.\u00a0 Lenni tries to get Molly and Bianca to be friends but after a horrible experience at a concert, Molly is convinced there is no hope.\u00a0 That is until the church Molly has started going to convinces her other wise.\u00a0 Molly comes to understand Bianca a lot better when she learns to focus not on the outside of a person but the inside.\u00a0 Soon things change and Molly and Bianca come to understand each other.\u00a0 But, can the hurts that were caused be forgiven or will the change only be temporary.<br \/>\nI thought this was an interesting young adult book.\u00a0 It had a bit of a slow start-up but when the dream journal project comes into play things really catch fire.\u00a0 The magic and witch part of the book is quite interesting.\u00a0 I think a lot of teens with challenges in their life can relate to Bianca and relate to the reasons Bianca does what she does.\u00a0 On the flip side of things, Molly can also be relatable.\u00a0 With her being bullied, sadly, more kids will be able to relate to this.\u00a0 But, what makes this unique is the way the bullying is pulled off.\u00a0 In the end we get all the answers regarding Bianca&#8217;s witchiness, but until then it is very believable.\u00a0 I have to say I really liked the lessons learned and how deftly the use of bible verses were added into the book.\u00a0 Overall, I think this was a unique young adult novel that had some added depth that wasn&#8217;t expected.\u00a0 This is definitely a good one for teens to read.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Monday!\u00a0 This week I&#8217;m starting you off with a young adult book.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a pretty typical teen book with the one\u00a0exception of one of the characters being a wanna be witch.\u00a0 She uses this fact to bully another student.\u00a0 Though much of is this unrelatable through the witch part I think everyone knew or&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[116,1795,1813],"class_list":["post-2310","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-book-reviews","tag-anna-marie-kittrell","tag-witchabe","tag-young-adult"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
