Cassidy is a successful bar owner and is pleased with her life.\u00a0 She has overcome the past and is running her life the way she wants it without anyone else.\u00a0 That is until her house band hires a new guitarist, Cameron Chase.\u00a0 When Cassidy and Cam meet for the first time the vibe is electric and this scares Cassidy.\u00a0 She is not interested in any kind of relationship or getting closer to any man other than an anonymous roll in the hay.\u00a0 Unfortunately, the very persistent Cam has other ideas and he won’t let up until Cassidy will let him in.\u00a0 How long will Cassidy let the past dictate her future and if she can move passed it will Cam still be there to love her?
\nThis was a great little novel.\u00a0 It had lots of steamy sex scenes that spice up a story that can have very emotional turns.\u00a0 I really loved Cam.\u00a0 I think he is definitely a guy that any girl would want chasing her.\u00a0 Cassidy eventually grew on me but it took time.\u00a0 It was a bit tiresome the way she continually snapped at people and how her emotions were not controllable.\u00a0 At times I felt like she was almost too off-putting.\u00a0 I understand why her character was the way she was but it felt a bit extreme to me.\u00a0 The story was good and I liked the little bit of intrigue that was thrown in there.\u00a0 Though it was predictable who the bad guy was.\u00a0 Overall, I think it was an enjoyable read and would recommend it to anyone look for a some spice and a good story.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
