Between contradicting statements, police ineptitude, lust, lies, manipulation, incest, the motorcycle gang The Devil\u2019s Disciples, crooked cops, and a botched crime scene, everyone becomes a suspect.<\/p>\n<p>The young beautiful Jackie Reeves, a registered nurse, believes the killer is a man from her past. She contacts the dangerously handsome FBI Agent Walker Harmon. An arrest is made, but Harmon and Jackie believe an innocent man is being railroaded by local cops. Determined to find the truth, before anymore killings, Agent Harmon and Jackie are forced to run a gauntlet of deep trouble and turmoil, which marks them for death.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>From the moment two teenager&#8217;s bodies are found in pieces a town is torn apart by speculation.\u00a0 Both the families are suspects, but the corrupt police department railroads only one suspect.\u00a0 It is the lack of police cooperation that brings the FBI into the mix and Agent Harmon is hellbent on finding the right person who committed the crime.\u00a0 Amidst a lot of the town&#8217;s anger finding the real killer becomes daunting.\u00a0 With each new clue comes a new suspect will the real killer or killers be brought to justice or will there forever be a cold case.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This book was a bit daunting.\u00a0 The story skips around alot between chapters.\u00a0 The &#8220;romance&#8221; between the FBI agent and the nurse was spotty and I really couldn&#8217;t keep up.\u00a0 It was secondary to the story and really could have been left out.\u00a0 Honestly, the nurse&#8217;s character wasn&#8217;t really necessary and it didn&#8217;t make sense why she was even targeted.\u00a0 This story would be very good if the continuity was better.\u00a0 It was choppy in too many spots for my taste.\u00a0 I felt like I&#8217;d get really sucked into a particular storyline then it would skip ahead a lot and then I was lost until I got sucked in again and it seemed to be the trend with this story.\u00a0 I would have to say that this idea and story had a lot of potential but unfortunately the outcome just didn&#8217;t quite hit the mark.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know this is pretty late but my Fourth of July weekend kinda got busy.\u00a0 I hope you all have had a great holiday weekend.\u00a0 Today, I am reviewing the book Murder Most Foul by JoAnne Myers.\u00a0 This was an intriguing read that will have you guessing who is the real guilty party.\u00a0 For my&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2453","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
