Happy September!\u00a0 I know I have been a bit absent lately and I have missed all of you.\u00a0 I have been busy with vacations and getting something pretty exciting started.\u00a0 I officially have an etsy store where I have coasters both decorative and useful with your favorite book covers on them.\u00a0 I also have a made to order option if the one your looking for isn’t there.\u00a0 Here is my shop:\u00a0 https:\/\/www.etsy.com\/shop\/MavenKrafts\u00a0 .\u00a0\u00a0 OK…so now that I have caught you up on some of the exciting things going on here I am reviewing for you guys a great novel for you, Color of Danger<\/em> by Alexa Verde.\u00a0 This was a fast paced and exciting with every turn of the page.\u00a0 For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.<\/p>\n

Former runaway Mari Del Lobo works hard to save her struggling restaurant and to trust people again. Dallas surgeon Dr. Luke Goodman turns her world upside down with terrifying news. When attacks on her escalate, Mari fights her growing attraction to the good doctor as fiercely as she fights for her life. \nLuke couldn’t save his fianc\u00e9e from the Smiling Killer, but he’ll do anything to prevent more murders, even ask help from the serial killer’s sister. Finding a kindred tortured soul and the perpetrator’s next target in Mari, Luke is determined to protect the stubborn ex-rebel. But Mari would rather face danger than risk the safety of the man she comes to love.<\/span><\/p>\n

Review:<\/h2>\n

Mari is living in the shadow of her serial killer brother.\u00a0 Though he has been dead for a year she still feels that shadow.\u00a0 When Luke Goodman comes into town to ask Mari questions about a murder that is just like her brother’s things begin to get dangerous.\u00a0 Mari begins to get threats and more people start dying.\u00a0 Could this be a copycat or is her brother still alive?\u00a0 While these questions swirl around her connection with Luke deepens but with that comes more risk to all Mari loves.\u00a0 Can they catch the killer before the killer catches Mari or will everything end the way her brother really wanted it to?
\nI really loved this story.\u00a0 It really catches you from the first page.\u00a0 I adored Mari’s character and all that made her story.\u00a0 It was definitely a unique perspective of how the life of the family of a serial killer could be effected.\u00a0 The supporting characters of Mari’s friends was a fantastic addition.\u00a0 It also allows for follow up stories.\u00a0 The story itself was unique and had you guessing who could be the culprit.\u00a0 At one point in the story everyone is a suspect even Mari’s dead brother.\u00a0 I adore stories that keep you wondering what is happening next.\u00a0 Alexa Verde really knows how to write a suspense filled story.\u00a0 I truly can’t wait to read her next story in this series.\u00a0 Overall, if you like to be kept guessing and love memorable characters you will love, Color of Danger<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
