Will the curse at last claim The Soul of the Witch?<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Janesa and Devan have always had an otherworldly connection.\u00a0 Best friends that have never really fit with those around them.\u00a0 They have always been able to attract any many they wanted and used this to get through life.\u00a0 That is until Nick comes into town.\u00a0 Unbeknownst to Devan and Janesa, Nick has been watching them.\u00a0 Soon Nick gets closer than he is supposed to and is drawn to Devan.\u00a0 Through Nick Devan learns who Nick is, who he works for and what she and Janesa are.\u00a0 Through letters that take you into the past through generations of Devan and Janesa&#8217;s ancestors you see that they aren&#8217;t as unusual as they may think.\u00a0 They are just the first two to have found each other.\u00a0 But with this information they will have to protect themselves from the one person who has tried to annihilate their ancestors.\u00a0 The only way to do this will be to accept who they are and what they have to do.<br \/>\nI was really drawn into this book.\u00a0 I liked the story and I liked the characters.\u00a0 Devan and Janesa were quite interesting in the beginning.\u00a0 With the mystery that surrounded them it really propelled the story.\u00a0 I think the best part of this story was the incorporation of the letters.\u00a0 The letters from the witch hunters that were very detailed and showed quite a lot about the people who were made to hunt the supposed witches.\u00a0 The only puzzling part was the letters where they confessed about their failings knowing they would be killed.\u00a0 Though that seemed a bit confusing it helped propel the story in new and interesting angles.\u00a0 Overall, I thought this was a fantastic story that I hope will be continued with future books.\u00a0 I would say this is the perfect Halloween book.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey Everyone!\u00a0 Sorry I have been away for a while, but I am back now and hope to have even more exciting reviews.\u00a0 Today, I have a good one.\u00a0 The Soul of the Witch is an exciting paranormal that melds past and future in an entertaining and gripping way.\u00a0 This is definitely a great book&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[399,1171,1625,1797],"class_list":["post-2532","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-book-reviews","tag-dana-michelle-burnett","tag-paranormal","tag-the-soul-of-the-witch","tag-witches"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
