Yeah!\u00a0 I got my greedy little hands on another Nick Spinelli novel.\u00a0 Well this one is more like a novella but anything with Nick Spinelli is good.\u00a0 Today I am reviewing Craving Vengeance<\/em> by Valerie Clarizio.\u00a0 This takes place two months after her first book Covert Exposure<\/em>.\u00a0 You can check out my review of Covert Exposure<\/em> here<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.<\/p>\n

\"18664160\"<\/a>Book Blurb:<\/h2>\n

Nick Spinelli’s normal life as a homicide detective has been catapulted into a whirlwind of chaotic holiday adventures ever since he met the beautiful Shannon O’Hara.<\/span>
\nNick had hoped to spend his first Valentine’s Day with Shannon in a traditional manner, starting with a nice dinner out on the town and then perhaps a long warm adventurous night in her arms. His plans quickly change when cupid is found murdered in a back alley. The investigation becomes more and more inconceivable, as Spinelli discovers that Shannon is linked to the victim. When another cupid turns up dead, and it is discovered that Shannon knows him as well, Spinelli is motivated to go undercover as a singing valentine dressed as cupid, complete with wings and a quiver of arrows. How many other cupids are at risk? Is Spinelli on the killer’s list as well? The stress ignited by the day’s events causes sparks to fly between Spinelli and Shannon as he struggles to piece it all together and stop the string of slayings<\/p>\n

Review:<\/h2>\n

Spinelli’s life has been turned upside down since he met Shannon two months ago.\u00a0 He’s never felt this way about anyone and he realizes he doesn’t want any of that to ever change.\u00a0 So he has a romantic Valentine’s Day planned.\u00a0 Unfortunately, all of that is put to the side when multiple cupid’s are found dead.\u00a0 As Spinelli goes deeper into the case he realizes all of the cupids are connected to Shannon and she may be hiding a secret that could end it all for the two of them.\u00a0 Spinelli is forced to go undercover again and try to find who is killing these cupids before he becomes the next target.
\nI adore Spinelli and Shannon.\u00a0 I loved them in Covert Exposure<\/em> and I loved them even more in Craving Vengeance<\/em>. These stories are so enthralling.\u00a0 They keep you guessing and hooked in wondering what is going to happen next.\u00a0 I really liked that this story took place not long after the first one.\u00a0 I would recommend reading the first book so that you can have a better perspective of where this story is coming from.\u00a0 Overall, this is a great novella that I hope is leading to the next Nick Spinelli book.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
