Review:<\/h2>\n

Beryl is stuck.\u00a0 She is the manager at her local coffeehouse and cant seem to see a way out.\u00a0 That is until her dad’s friend comes back to visit and offers her a job in NYC.\u00a0 Though reluctant at first, Beryl agrees and soon moves to the big city.\u00a0 Unfortunately, when she arrives things don’t end up the way she plans.\u00a0 Her roommate situation falls apart and she finds herself staying at a cheap sleazy motel.\u00a0 Not only is her living situation horrible so is her first task as assistant to a property manager.\u00a0 She is responsible for cleaning the destroyed mess of an apartment that a spoiled rock star wrecked.\u00a0 But, when he boss has the idea for her to branch out and begin house sitting her housing problems are solved.\u00a0 While living at the rock star’s apartment she begins an email correspondence with him.\u00a0 Initially it is only to confirm what his needs for the apartment are, but this grows into much more and soon Beryl knows his darkest secrets and is begging him to come home.\u00a0 But, can her rock star really change or will he fall right back where he was when she first walked into his apartment?
\nThis was an addicting read.\u00a0 So much so that I had to talk myself out of reading the next book right away.\u00a0 I totally fell for Gavin.\u00a0 He is definitely a hot rock star and will be in line with my other rock star book boyfriends.\u00a0 What I think really made this book stand out though was that they don’t meet until three-quarters of the way through the book.\u00a0 Their relationship builds through email and chat.\u00a0 It felt much more organic than some of these rock star romances that start backstage and end happily ever after.\u00a0 I also really liked the parallel evolution of both Anna and Gavin.\u00a0 They are both stuck at some point but manage to change and grow into poignant characters that you care about.\u00a0 I truly can’t wait to get my hands on the next book and meet more of the boys from Tattoo Thief.\u00a0 It will be a fun ride that is going to suck me in all over again.\u00a0 I am definitely glad I one-clicked this freebie.\u00a0 Thank you Amazon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
