Happy Friday!\u00a0 I hope you are all like me and can’t wait to get to the weekend.\u00a0 I am going to start your weekend off with a cute novella by Nadine Keels.\u00a0 The “She” Stands Alone<\/em> is part farmer in the dell and part woman empowerment.\u00a0 This is definitely a short novella that will give you a break between reads.\u00a0 For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.\u00a0 Hope your weekend is fun and if your lucky like me (insert sarcasm) you will be getting snow.<\/p>\n

She can’t seem to catch any guy’s notice for anything. No, a pick-up pitch from a stranger gawking at her around Pump #2 at the gas station doesn’t count. And that attractive salesman at the one-stop-for-all-you-want store in town shouldn’t have been flirting with her in the first place, being ultra customer-friendly in an establishment notorious for its pathetic customer service.<\/span>
\nNow, is this young woman’s dateless predicament unfixable? Not in the least. New plan: Sheridan Jones is going to date herself.

Review:<\/h2>\n

What happens when the sexy man you’ve been dating all through college leaves you for his true love that left him in high school?\u00a0 If your Sheridan, you find yourself becoming what seems like invisible to the opposite sex and develop an addiction to books with sexy heroes and heroines.\u00a0 But, this doesn’t solve your dating problem.\u00a0 So, try something new…date yourself.\u00a0 Almost as soon as Sheridan decides to date herself,\u00a0 a man that’s been around starts to show interest.\u00a0 Now, Sheridan must decide open herself up again or keep dating the one person who hasn’t let her down.
\nThis was a cute little novella.\u00a0 I think most women will read this and be able to relate to Sheridan in one form or another.\u00a0 Her trials on how to get through her personal life and the decisions that she makes are at times comical and awkward but totally fun and real.\u00a0 I think the dilemmas Sheridan goes through I have gone through on more than one occasion.\u00a0 Unfortunately, I didn’t necessarily have the same about of fun but could probably deem them comical and awkward.\u00a0 Nadine Keels really created a story that is short on length but big in heart.\u00a0 Definitely a quick read that you won’t regret picking up.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
