Her goals are in sight and there\u2019s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn\u2019t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.<br \/>\nFor once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.<br \/>\nThe last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can\u2019t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin\u2026<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Auburn is new to Dallas and feels she is in a bit deep when she sees a help wanted sign at an art studio.\u00a0 Once she hears about the artist, the pay and what she has to do she knows she can&#8217;t pass up this opportunity.\u00a0 Owen remembers Auburn the moment she asks about the job.\u00a0 Though they never talked he knew her when he heard her speak.\u00a0 He had always hoped she would walk into his world.\u00a0 When Auburn spends more time with Owen she realizes that he is a lot more than he seems and that he has lots of secrets.\u00a0 Thats ok with her because she has her own share.\u00a0 Secrets have the ability to tear you apart, but the confessions can break your heart.\u00a0 Can Owen and Auburn overcome their secrets or will it destroy everything they love?<br \/>\nI adored Auburn and Owen.\u00a0 I found myself really drawn into their intricate stories.\u00a0 As the layers were peeled back you really saw the heart of their story and that you knew if they didn&#8217;t end up together you would be as heartbroken as they would be.\u00a0 But, I am not one to give away an ending so you will just have to read the book to find out.\u00a0 I thought the use of the confessions for the themes of Owen&#8217;s paintings very clever and really made it a unique theme throughout the book.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t Auburn truly got the idea of an anonymous confession though.\u00a0 Its ok I still loved her.\u00a0 I will say this there are a few predictable parts of this story but just when I felt I had everything nailed down then came a twist I wasn&#8217;t fully expecting.\u00a0 Overall, it is another great win for Colleen Hoover.\u00a0 I never regret picking up her books but I am always sad when I finish them and have to put them down.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Another Colleen Hoover and another book I couldn&#8217;t put down.\u00a0 This woman really knows how to write.\u00a0 Confess is another great addition to all of the Colleen Hoover books I own.\u00a0 This love story between two people who have too many secrets will have you believing in fate and the ability to love more than&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[329,341,342,349,1168],"class_list":["post-2931","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-book-reviews","tag-colleen-hoover","tag-confess","tag-confessions","tag-contemporary-romance","tag-paintings"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
