Maas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Friday!\u00a0 I hope all of you have been having a great week and have enjoyed all of the wonderful reads I&#8217;ve gotten to share with you.\u00a0 Today is book two in my new obsession The Throne of Glass series.\u00a0 <em>Crown of Midnight<\/em> takes this series a step farther.\u00a0 It answers some questions and definitely makes you ask some more too.\u00a0 You get to see all your favorite characters and experience heartbreak, anger, rage and sadness among other emotions.\u00a0 For my full review keep reading after the book blog.\u00a0 I would be remiss that you may get spoilers just for the mear fact that it is book two.\u00a0 I will try my best but you have been warned.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Have an awesome weekend and Friday!<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/06\/17167166.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2936\" src=\"https:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/06\/17167166.jpg?w=198\" alt=\"17167166\" width=\"198\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Book Blurb:<\/h2>\n<p><span id=\"freeText2434428417211618172\">From the throne of glass rules a king with a fist of iron and a soul as black as pitch. As Celaena&#8217;s world shatters, she will be forced to give up the very thing most precious to her and decide once and for all where her true loyalties lie&#8230; and whom she is ultimately willing to fight for.<\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Leaving off from Celaena&#8217;s win, <em>Crown of Midnight<\/em> drives you into Celaena&#8217;s new job as Champion.\u00a0 Back to being a fearless killer Celaena does what she must in hopes of possibly winning her freedom.\u00a0 What she doesn&#8217;t anticipate is how things are different now from a year before.\u00a0 Though she struggles with her new moral compass she must put on an act that no one can discover.\u00a0 She can&#8217;t confide in the Crown Prince, the Captain of the Guard or even her best friend a foreign princess.\u00a0 As she gets further into her secrets and intrigue she can&#8217;t help but to begin to trust those around her.\u00a0 That is until a tragic night that turns her world upside down and shreds her to pieces.\u00a0 Calaena will be changed forever from that night.\u00a0 Nothing and no one will ever be the same and with that secrets will come to light that are dangerous to all who know them.<br \/>\nThis series has gotten me hook, line and sinker.\u00a0 It has taken all of my will not to sit down and read this entire series.\u00a0 I have been a good girl and am trying to spread it out.\u00a0 That being said, <em>Crown of Midnight<\/em> is one of the best second books in a series I have read.
