Maas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Monday!\u00a0 To start off your week I am going to share with you the third book in the Throne of Glass series.\u00a0 It was a fantastic addition to this series.\u00a0 I really can&#8217;t say enough about this series and Sarah Maas.\u00a0 Both a fantastic story told by a phenomenal storyteller.\u00a0 I will be waiting with bated breath for the next book in the series.\u00a0 For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.\u00a0 Hope this week starts off well for you.\u00a0 My week will be a short one thank goodness.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/06\/20613470.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2950\" src=\"https:\/\/bookmaven623.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/06\/20613470.jpg?w=198\" alt=\"20613470\" width=\"198\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Book Blurb:<\/h2>\n<p><span id=\"freeText12711022199180355171\"><strong>She was the heir of ash and fire, and she would bow to no one.<\/strong><br \/>\nCelaena Sardothien has survived deadly contests and shattering heartbreak\u2014but at an unspeakable cost. To defeat them, Celaena must find the strength to not only fight her inner demons but to battle the evil that is about to be unleashed.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Celaena has survived so much heartbreak.\u00a0 Her world has been tipped and turned inside out many times in her short life.\u00a0 So, this errand for the king shouldn&#8217;t be much different.\u00a0 She must seek out her aunt, Queen Maeve of the Fae.\u00a0 It doesn&#8217;t take long for the Fae to seek her out and bring her to Maeve.\u00a0 Upon meeting her they strike a bargain.\u00a0 Celaena must find her magic and then she will get the answers that she seeks from Maeve.\u00a0 While Celaena is training with a Fae prince, Choal and her cousin, Aedion, strike many deals for information.\u00a0 With the information they glean they are in peril constantly.\u00a0 While Choal and Aedion are working with rebels, Dorian is learning to control his still new powers.\u00a0\u00a0 It seems that all in this world are facing dangers untold and as the King uses more of his power it is only encouraging those in danger to risk more.\u00a0 Will Celaena finally rise up to claim what is hers?\u00a0 Will Choal finally choose a side?\u00a0 Will Dorian learn control and use the power that is so volatile?\u00a0 All will be answered even if those answers cause more pain.<br \/>\nI have total girl crush on Celaena.\u00a0 She has grown to be one of my favorite heroines.\u00a0 She is fearless, powerful and passionate in all she does.\u00a0 I think this book illustrates that more than anything.\u00a0 She must face her past horrors and through that she becomes who she must be.\u00a0 It isn&#8217;t just Celaena who really develops in this book.\u00a0 Choal and Dorian really come into their own.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve always felt Choal was torn on what is right and what is loyal.\u00a0 He finally chooses and when he does it is in a dramatic way.\u00a0 A way that you don&#8217;t really expect from Choal.\u00a0 We also get to know Aedion, Celaena&#8217;s cousin.\u00a0 He is everything you would think Celaena&#8217;s cousin would be.\u00a0 Arrogant, fearless and loyal even though many don&#8217;t know that he is.\u00a0 Overall, this book really propelled the story.\u00a0 It was hard for me to put it down.\u00a0 I tried really hard to read this slow knowing that the next book isn&#8217;t out til September but I couldn&#8217;t help it.\u00a0 These books draw me and never let me go.\u00a0 I am such a Sarah Maas fan now that I am recommending this series to all who ask.\u00a0 I hope if you haven&#8217;t picked up the first one yet that you are definitely running out and picking it up to start ASAP.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Monday!\u00a0 To start off your week I am going to share with you the third book in the Throne of Glass series.\u00a0 It was a fantastic addition to this series.\u00a0 I really can&#8217;t say enough about this series and Sarah Maas.\u00a0 Both a fantastic story told by a phenomenal storyteller.\u00a0 I will be waiting&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[552,681,1342,1664,1813],"class_list":["post-2949","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-book-reviews","tag-fantasy","tag-heir-of-fire","tag-sarah-j-maas","tag-throne-of-glass-series","tag-young-adult"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Review: Heir of Fire (Throne of Glass #3) by Sarah J.
