If only someone had warned Anna.<br \/>\nForced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?<\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Anna has always experienced things that others couldn&#8217;t.\u00a0 She could see auras and most recently since her birthday she has been able to see clouds floating around people.\u00a0 It isn&#8217;t until she meets a very hot drummer names Kaiden that things become a bit clearer.\u00a0 It is only after their second meeting that Kaiden begins to reveal what they both are.\u00a0 They are children of demons here on Earth.\u00a0 Each of the children of demons have the affliction of the demon.\u00a0 Such as, Kaiden is the son of the demon of Lust and he is charged with getting people to have lusty feeling and having sex, usually with him.\u00a0 Anna, is the daughter of the Demon of Substance Abuse, and she is attracted to drugs and alcohol and must get people to use them.\u00a0 The problem is that Anna has a conscience regarding this.\u00a0 After finally meeting her father she learns that she is also part Guardian Angel.\u00a0 With this knowledge, Anna must make a choice.\u00a0 Will she follow the path toward darkness or stay in the light?\u00a0 Its not as easy as it sounds since the demon world now knows about her.\u00a0 She must keep the truth about her secret and her growing attraction to the Son of the Demon of Lust under wraps or she will get her and all she loves killed.<br \/>\nI adored this first book in the series.\u00a0 Anna is truly a great character.\u00a0 With her little bit of angel and demon it almost made her human.\u00a0 I think everyone could relate on one level or another about the pull to do something bad and had remorse about it.\u00a0 Kaiden was also a great character that brought a lot of depth to the story.\u00a0 Also, who wouldn&#8217;t fall for the hot as sin drummer.\u00a0 This is a teenage girl after all :).\u00a0 The story itself was quite inventive and unique.\u00a0 It really meshed the real world with that of angels and demons.\u00a0 It truly felt like this could be real.\u00a0 This book really set up the world and setting for this trilogy.\u00a0 It let us meet characters that will be important in the future and allows the reader to bond with all of them.\u00a0 Wendy Higgins is a gem of a writer and this is one series that I know will stay with me for a long time to come.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Friday!\u00a0 Today I have a phenomenal book for you.\u00a0 Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins was another book on my TBR list that I finally got to.\u00a0 This is a great Young Adult Paranormal.\u00a0 I fell in love with the creative story and the characters.\u00a0 This is definitely one you will want to get your&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[108,436,1171,1482,1488,1763],"class_list":["post-2962","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-book-reviews","tag-angels","tag-demons","tag-paranormal","tag-sweet-evil","tag-sweet-trilogy","tag-wendy-higgins"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
