She knows because she\u2019s been granted the unique gift of finding and caring for those forgotten memories. But now she\u2019s nearing ninety, and Browne women seldom live beyond ninety.<br \/>\nBefore time runs out Ophelia must find a successor. The two women forge a bond of friendship as they sip magical dandelion tea and share stories. When Annie starts to sense the memories Ophelia is delighted, but then a thread of violence begins to unravel and Ophelia fears things have gone too far.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Annie is still heart-broken from her recent break-up.\u00a0 She just wanders through her nights and weekends alone.\u00a0 That is until she discovers Memory House and the old woman who runs the bed and breakfast, Ophelia Browne.\u00a0 As soon as Ophelia sees Annie she knows that she is the one.\u00a0 Annie is drawn toward the house and the mysterious woman who runs it.\u00a0 Soon, Annie learns Ophelia&#8217;s secret and that she has the same ability.\u00a0 This consumes Annie and allows her to move forward in her life.\u00a0 Annie soon learns that even with her ability comes danger that Ophelia never knew about.\u00a0 Will Annie be able to move forward or will her past come back to haunt her?<br \/>\nThis was a really unique book.\u00a0 The story and its characters captivate the mind and the senses.\u00a0 You truly begin to believe that what Ophelia and Annie can do is possible.\u00a0 I think this story illustrates both hope and sadness.\u00a0 Annie&#8217;s character develops so well over time through her ability, but Ophelia you see has been held back by it.\u00a0 The two takes on the same ability and the moral conundrum that it places them in is well written and woven into this fantastic story.\u00a0 I have enjoyed all of the novels I have read by Bette Lee Crosby and this was no exception.\u00a0 I can&#8217;t wait until I can read another of her fantastic stories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Sunday!\u00a0 I hope all of you have had a great weekend.\u00a0 Today I am bringing to you another great by Bette Lee Crosby.\u00a0 Memory House is a unique story that takes you to a place where memories attach themselves to objects and there are those out there that can find them.\u00a0 This was a&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"content-type":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[195,1036,1037,1093,1301],"class_list":["post-3040","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-book-reviews","tag-bette-lee-crosby","tag-memories","tag-memory-house","tag-mystery","tag-romance"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
