Happy Hump Day!\u00a0 I don’t know about you but I am really glad we are on the back-end of the week.\u00a0 So, to celebrate I am bringing to you a novella by the fantastic Jerrie Alexander.\u00a0 You will have seen many reviews I have done of her books.\u00a0 This novella is a great example of Jerrie’s work.\u00a0 It has a fantastic mixture of suspense and romance.\u00a0 For my full review, keep reading after the blurb.\u00a0 I hope you have a great remainder of the week.<\/p>\n

Elle Reagan isn’t about to stand by and let a con-artist get away with stealing her grandmother\u2019s life savings. While the legal system moves at a snail’s pace, Elle promises to bring him to justice. She follows him to a ski resort in Colorado, where she hopes to get the evidence needed to put him away for good. But she didn’t count on her roommate being a distraction, because he wasn’t supposed to be her brother\u2019s best friend.
\nDetective Logan Ford has denied his desire to take Elle into his arms since they were teenagers, but when his partner asks him to follow her to Castle Alainn to keep her out of trouble, Logan finds himself unable to refuse her. He agrees to help catch a thief instead of convincing her to pack her bags and go home. To make matters worse, he can\u2019t seem to remember why he should keep his distance from the delectable, infuriating, independent Elle.
\nElle and Logan surrender to their attraction, but as their passion ignites, her plot is discovered. A killer will do whatever it takes to silence her and destroy a love that was destined to last a lifetime<\/span><\/p>\n

Review:<\/h2>\n

Elle is out to catch the con man who stole from her grandmother.\u00a0 Before she can finish snooping around her brother’s best friend, Logan,\u00a0shows up and stops her.\u00a0 Both shocked and pleased that her\u00a0long time crush has unexpectedly shown up she is at first confused why he is there.\u00a0 When Elle realizes her brother sent him to stop her, she decides to turn him into a co-conspirator.\u00a0 They must find incriminating evidence on this con man and stop him from conning the couple who owns the resort they are staying at.\u00a0 But, while they are on the hunt they must also fight the long time attraction that simmers between them.\u00a0 Can Elle and Logan get the evidence they need and survive the passion that consumes them?
\nAs always, this is a fantastic suspense filled romance.\u00a0 Though this was only a novella you really get a great sense of the characters and the story is well-rounded and well written.\u00a0 Elle and Logan have ignitable chemistry.\u00a0 The romance and suspense are woven expertly.\u00a0 The story keeps you on the edge of your seat.\u00a0 This will have you enthralled until the very end.\u00a0 Overall, I think this is another great story by Jerrie Alexander.\u00a0 For anyone, who hasn’t read her books this is an awesome example of her expert story and character building.\u00a0 You will want to pick up all her books after reading this one novella.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
