He\u2019s looking for a wingman, not a chick who will put a damper on his game or drench his apartment in pink. It\u2019s clear she\u2019s in a bind, and something about her makes him break his own rules. But when he reluctantly accepts, it\u2019s with four concrete conditions.<br \/>\nBe his wingman. Don\u2019t get in his way with other girls. No bitchy attitudes. And most importantly, she can\u2019t fall for him.<br \/>\nPretty sure this was the world\u2019s worst idea\u2014ever\u2026<br \/>\nTrust is something earned. Raina learned that the hard way when her father broke her heart as a child, making it easy to steer clear of relationships. But living with Kent somehow stirs emotions Raina has always forbidden herself to have. Plus, he\u2019s everything she never wanted\u2014untrustworthy, pigheaded\u2026and gorgeous. Something tells her Kent isn\u2019t free of his own secret scars\u2026<br \/>\nLove can drag you down and spit you out, and be worth every second.!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Raina is desperate.\u00a0 She is now homeless and must find a place to live.\u00a0 When she finally comes across an affordable place the very handsome guy that answers the door she realizes this may not be as ideal as she thinks.\u00a0 Kent agrees to let her move in with a few stipulations.\u00a0 Raina agrees but when she finally has to fulfill her part of the bargain she realizes may be impossible.\u00a0 As Raina and Kent fight their attraction and their pasts they must decide if they can let love in or will they let it fall out of their grasp?<br \/>\nI enjoyed this book.\u00a0 It was full of angst and drama, but it also had a solid love story.\u00a0 The story was well written with well developed and dynamic characters.\u00a0 Kent, himself, is the most complex and perplexing character.\u00a0 You will question why Raina really goes for him, but when his story unfolds you will be falling for him just like Raina.\u00a0 Another fantastic part of this book are the ancillary characters like James, Becca and Sam.\u00a0 Though you may not like some of them and they really are horrible at times they are so well written and help to propel the story.\u00a0 My only complaint with this book was the ending.\u00a0 It felt rushed and without the detail that throughout the book I became accustomed.
