Jamie always gets what he wants.\u00a0 What he wants more than anything is Tori.\u00a0 Tori hates him.\u00a0 She thinks he’s rude, egotistical and hotter than hot.\u00a0 Jamie knows deep down Tori wants him.\u00a0 Tori knows deep down he is still a horrible person.\u00a0 Soon Tori and Jamie make a bet and are trying to out do one another.\u00a0 What Tori doesn’t realize is that Jamie isn’t what he seems and if she were honest with herself she would see him for what he is instead of the arrogant jerk he shows.\u00a0 Can Jamie persuade Tori to be honest with herself or will Tori finally convince Jamie they aren’t meant to be?
\nAll I can say with this book is WOW!\u00a0 At first, I totally hated Jamie.\u00a0 I felt just like Tori did.\u00a0 Then as the book went on I saw how deep his character was and totally fell for this hot surfer.\u00a0 Tori did annoy me at times though.\u00a0 I felt she too easily gave into certain things when in reality she could have easily said no.\u00a0 But she grew on me toward the end of the story too.\u00a0 The story itself becomes sweet and so very touching along with very steamy scenes between Jamie and Tori.\u00a0 If your looking for a alpha male with no filter and a woman who wants nothing to do with him, you have found the perfect book.\u00a0 Jamie is any woman’s next book boyfriend.\u00a0 Believe me when I say you will fall for this book, its story, its characters and especially the amazing sex scenes.<\/p>\n

\nHammerjacks was dimly lit and packed with bodies, some dancing together and others crowding the bar, waiting to get served. I started scanning the room as I came up beside Tori, who was doing the same even though she had no idea who she was looking for.
\nI saw Quinn almost instantly. She wasn\u2019t hard to spot.
\nThe bright pink spiked-out hair helped with that.
\n\u201cThere,\u201d I said, pointing in the direction of the bar where my sister was sitting on a stool, head turned away from the group of shitheads swarming her.
\nShe was alone. That pissed me off.
\nShe was here, in town visiting, and she was looking for ass. That pissed me off, too.
\nNot much I could do about the second thing, I understood it, but she was gonna hear my feelings toward the other whether she wanted to hear them or not.
\n\u201cWhat\u2019s her name again?\u201d Tori asked as we made our way over.
\n\u201cQuinn,\u201d I said.
\nShe nodded, face serious. Then she tucked stray pieces of hair behind her ears and smoothed out the rest of her pony, pulled the one sleeve of her shirt down so it exposed her shoulder and bra strap, straightened her spine, tipped her chin up, and put on a smile before rushing ahead.
\n\u201cHey, sweetie. Sorry I\u2019m late,\u201d Tori chirped, squeezing in between my sister and the shitheads as if they weren\u2019t standing there. She grabbed Quinn\u2019s face, bent down, and kissed her cheek. \u201cI missed you. Did you miss me?\u201d she asked, bringing both hands to Quinn\u2019s neck and holding there while standing between her bent knees.
\nTori was smiling and playing the part, leaning close and making it seem like they were really together, or at least really feeling each other. My sister was blinking up at Tori, looking baffled but also looking like she was wanting to buy everything Legs was selling.
\nI wasn\u2019t surprised. Quinn shared my taste in women. And I definitely had a taste for Legs.
\n\u201cWhoa, are you two\u2026damn. Is this your girl?\u201d one of the shitheads asked from behind Tori, pointing at the back of her.
\n\u201cJesus,\u201d another one chimed in, looking his fill. \u201cWhat are the chances of me watchin\u2019 you two go at it? This is fuckin\u2019 hot.\u201d
\nI stepped up then, not liking the tone of this guy and the shit coming out of his mouth, and wanting to make my presence known.
\nHe saw me approach and shot me a hard look, asking, \u201cYou gotta problem?\u201d
\n\u201cJamie.\u201d
\nTeeth clenched and fists forming, I looked to Quinn, not taking the bait he was throwing out.
\nShe was watching me, eyes serious and mouth tight, subtly shaking her head in warning \u2019cause she knew I couldn\u2019t be fighting or doing anything that could draw negative attention. Then she turned her attention onto Tori when she twisted and slid into Quinn\u2019s lap.
\n\u201cFishing in the wrong pond, boys,\u201d Tori informed them, sweeping her gaze over the three while putting her arm around Quinn\u2019s shoulders and pressing close. \u201cGet lost. We\u2019re not interested.\u201d Then she turned all of her attention onto my sister and amped up her game, giggling as she kept her face close to hers and running her fingers through her hair, smiling, whispering, really flirting and looking into it, all while blocking the view of the shitheads so they couldn\u2019t watch.
\nAnd everything Legs was doing, my sister was eating up.
\nWrapping her arms around Tori and holding on to her, smiling back, laughing, looking like she was falling in love and thinking this was real and something sustainable.
\nI was starting to regret incorporating Tori into this plan. She was a little too good at her game. Straight up. Maybe the best at it.
\nI was also starting to get mildly jealous watching my sister getting attention from the one woman who was hell-bent on ignoring my ass.
\n\u201cMan, whatever,\u201d the one guy said, grabbing his beer and looking to his friends. \u201cCome on. I\u2019m not wastin\u2019 my time on lesbian pussy.\u201d
\nHis friends murmured their agreement, mentioned something about hitting up Roy\u2019s, a bar down the street, then grabbed their beers and stepped away.
\nWhen they were out of earshot, I shifted my eyes to Legs, telling her, \u201cThink you sold it. You can get off my sister now.\u201d
\nTori smiled proudly, lifting her shoulders with a little dance. Then she looked to Quinn, keeping the smile, and said, \u201cHey, I\u2019m Tori. Your brother dragged me here, so I figured I\u2019d offer my assistance instead of letting him handle it, since he can\u2019t fight and all.\u201d
\n\u201cCan fight, just shouldn\u2019t,\u201d I corrected her. I jerked my chin. \u201cHop off.\u201d
\nQuinn moved her hands up Tori\u2019s back and licked her lips. \u201cWicked plan,\u201d my sister told her. \u201cI was totally into that.\u201d
\n\u201cI think it got the point across,\u201d Tori replied. \u201cI really like your hair, by the way.\u201d She ran her fingers through it again. \u201cThe color looks great on you.\u201d
\n\u201cReally?\u201d
\n\u201cAbsolutely. It really makes your eyes pop.\u201d
\n\u201cI was thinking about going purple\u2026\u201d
\n\u201cHave you tried bleaching the roots and just painting the color on the ends? I think that would look amazing with purple.\u201d
\nJesus.
\n\u201cLegs,\u201d I barked.
\nBoth of their heads whipped around and faced my direction.
\n\u201cYou feelin\u2019 like gettin\u2019 up so we can get the fuck outta here?\u201d I asked, thinking only about the food back at her place I was wanting to eat and not about how comfortable my sister\u2019s hands looked gripping on to Tori\u2019s body.
\n\u201cShe\u2019s fine,\u201d Quinn offered, keeping her hands locked around Legs. \u201cReally. She doesn\u2019t have to move.\u201d
\nI shot a glare at Quinn, communicating how I felt about that suggestion, then shifted that glare to Tori.
\n\u201cI was getting up. Relax. We were just talking,\u201d she huffed, moving off Quinn\u2019s lap and coming to stand beside me. \u201cYou\u2019re welcome, by the way,\u201d she murmured.
