\"\"<\/a>Today’s review is of The Unsacred Gift<\/em> by C.S Dorsey. It is a Young Adult Paranormal book.\u00a0 C.S Dorsey is\u00a0 giving away 2 Kindle ebooks during her blog tour.\u00a0 See below how to enter.<\/p>\n

In The<\/em> Unsacred Gift<\/em>, we meet Sissy.\u00a0 Sissy was born with the gift of being able to see the way people will die.\u00a0 She is very accurate.\u00a0 This first happened when she was six years old and her sister Misty went missing.\u00a0 Her entire life she isolates herself to avoid contact with people so that she will not see the horrific ways people die.\u00a0 Her life was moving along in this very isolated way until she goes home for the weekend for her grandmother’s birthday party.\u00a0 It is during this weekend that she begins to have horrible dreams so real they are leaving remnants behind.\u00a0 Sissy begins to feel as if she is going crazy.\u00a0 But, when all is said and done it becomes a weekend of love, enlightenment and sadness.\u00a0 Sissy discovers things that will allow her to change her world and accept herself for who she is.<\/p>\n

In general this was a good book.\u00a0 It seemed pretty short, but it was a nice complete read.\u00a0 I wasn’t expecting the ending at all.\u00a0 I knew it was gonna be something big, but was kind of disappointed when the twist erased everything that had been going on.\u00a0 The book felt like it could have bordered on an Adult book if the author wanted to take it in that direction.\u00a0 I was a bit distracted by a bunch of spelling and grammatical errors.\u00a0 I think the editor should have looked more closely.\u00a0 But, aside from the spelling and grammar, the story really stood up on its own.\u00a0 I was even thinking about it days later.\u00a0 I was thinking how frustrating and mad I was about the ending, but a good book will do that to you.\u00a0 It sticks with you.\u00a0 If I had one wish for this book (besides a different ending)\u00a0 I would have liked it to end a bit more thoroughly.\u00a0 The story kinda just dropped off after the twist.\u00a0 All in all it was a good Young Adult read and I will probably read it again…just to get mad all over again.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
