Yeah not so much.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">With the big 3-0 looming its ugly head around the corner my best friend and my married and very pregnant sister have decided that I need a life. One that includes the opposite sex. Or else continue on, and become the old spinster they say I am.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">It was all in jest until they set me up with a blind date. Literally. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Speed dating. In the dark. With a stranger. What were they thinking?<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Fifteen minutes, that\u2019s all you get to find the man of your dreams. Oh yeah, that\u2019ll go over about as well as a nun in a strip club.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Playing along might not be so bad. Besides, what&#8217;s the worst that could happen? It&#8217;s not like I\u2019ll actually end up falling in love.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>What can go wrong with speed dating in the dark?\u00a0 A lot actually.\u00a0 Tinley is a lowly call center girl by day and a lonely woman at night.\u00a0 When her friends sign her up for a dating in the dark event she doesn&#8217;t have high hopes.\u00a0 Her assumption is correct until her final date of the evening.\u00a0 She doesn&#8217;t expect the fireworks or the connection in a 15 min conversation.\u00a0 When she finally meets her speed dating prince charming she is floored and cannot believe who it is.\u00a0 As she opens her heart to him, she soon realizes she doesn&#8217;t know him at all and he can break her heart with one action.<\/p>\n<p>I really enjoyed this book.\u00a0 I was a bit skeptical of the premise but as I got into the story I really started to love Tinley and Marek.\u00a0 She is relatable in her insecurity and he is the epitome of why you shouldn&#8217;t judge a book by its cover.\u00a0 Their love story was fun and full of drama.\u00a0 As their story deepens so do the chances they take.\u00a0 When one mistake will alter their lives forever so will the one secret he is keeping.\u00a0 Alexandria Bishop does a top notch job in drawing in the reader with her first book in this trilogy.<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/DatingintheDarkUS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amazon<\/a> | <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/DatingintheDark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iBooks<\/a> | <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/DatingintheDarkBN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nook<\/a> | <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/DatingintheDarkKB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kobo<\/a><\/h1>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>About SINKING IN THE SHADOWS<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-37987\" src=\"http:\/\/www.inkslingerpr.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/AlexandriaBishop_SinkingInTheShadows_Amazon-666x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"263\" height=\"404\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">The Dating Trilogy continues with Sinking in the Shadows&#8230;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">She wasn\u2019t looking for love.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">She wasn\u2019t looking for a happily ever after.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">But Dating in the Dark gave her both.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Or so she thought.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Now with a broken heart and an unexpected surprise she doesn\u2019t know if she\u2019ll ever find her way back to both again.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight:400;\">Sinking in the Shadows is the second book in The Dating Trilogy and should be read after Dating in the Dark. Tinley and Marek\u2019s story concludes in Loving in the Light.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Review:<\/h2>\n<p>Tinley is heartbroken.\u00a0 Marek lied and now it was over. She knew things with him were too good to be true.\u00a0 Who really finds love at a speed dating event?
