\"\"<\/a>As a follow-up to my author profile of Elisabeth Naughton, I am reviewing her newest book in her Eternal Guardians<\/em> series Enraptured<\/em>.\u00a0 This one follows Orpheus.\u00a0Orpheus, half-Argonaut and half-daemon,\u00a0is the newest of the Guardians and a very reluctant one at that.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0story follows Orpheus after his brother Gryphon\u00a0loses his soul and his body is captured and being used by another.\u00a0 Orpheus is in search of his brother’s body and soul to hopefully get him back so\u00a0Orpheus no longer has to be a Guardian.\u00a0 We have seen Orpheus throughout the series.\u00a0 He is always enigmatic, sometimes conniving and always out to get what he wants.\u00a0 He will meet his match in a Siren named Skyla.\u00a0 As soon as Skyla\u00a0and Orpheus are together Skyla\u00a0realizes there is more to their relationship than Orpheus knows.\u00a0 The Fates have contrived a path for them that no one, not even Orpheus can derail.<\/p>\n

Ms. Naughton’s newest addition to her Eternal Guardians<\/em> is yet another stellar story.\u00a0 She weaves seamlessly the multiple layers and many players that comprise Enraptured<\/em>.\u00a0 Her story\u00a0draws you in\u00a0and you get an emotional attachment to the characters.\u00a0 You will be angry at both Orpheus and Skyla at points in the story.\u00a0 You will really hate Atalanta, but that is a normal feeling\u00a0about her in all the books.\u00a0 I read this book in two days and\u00a0it only took\u00a0that long because I have a 1 yr old I am\u00a0chasing around.\u00a0\u00a0I would recommend that this not be the first book in her series that you read, however.\u00a0 You are going to want to pick up Marked<\/em>\u00a0first.\u00a0\u00a0 If you do start with this book then you will have a lot of questions that only reading the first three books will answer.\u00a0 After you read all of Ms. Naughton’s Eternal Guardian<\/em>\u00a0series you will be waiting, like me, with bated breath for the next in the series, Enslaved<\/em>.<\/p>\n
