Blurb:
Millennia ago, he fell from heaven for her. Can he face her without falling again?
Fascinated with ancient civilizations, seventeen-year-old Mia Crawford dreams of becoming an archaeologist. She also dreams of wings–soft and silent like snow–and somebody trying to steal them.
When a horrible creature appears out of thin air and attacks her, she knows Michael Fontaine is involved, though he claims to know nothing about it. Secretive and aloof, Michael evokes feelings in Mia that she doesn’t understand. Images of another time and place haunt her. She recognizes them—but not from any textbook.
In search of the truth, Mia discovers a past life of forbidden love, jealousy and revenge that tore an angel from Heaven and sent her to an early grave. Now that her soul has returned, does she have a chance at loving that angel again? Or will an age-old nemesis destroy them both?
Ancient history is only the beginning.

Review:
This was a great read! Lisa Voisin really drew me in with this story. The character’s and premise are phenomenal. The idea that you could fall in love with an angel and they would fall from heaven to be with you is both sad and makes your heart thump. Mia and Michael have been through this once before. Now, they are meeting again after millenia have gone by. The attraction is still there connecting their souls. Michael has been given a second chance after falling, but must face Mia again to be let back into his heavenly brotherhood. They must know he will choose God and Heaven over a woman. All the while fighting their natural urges they must also fight the evils of Demons trying to attack Mia and her friends. Along with being normal teenagers they must deal with a battle of epic proportions that only few can see. Will Michael make the same choice or will Mia feel the pain of losing her angel again?
I loved this story. The characters were well-developed and the story well thought out. But, I am a sucker for a good love story that carries over time. Thought Michael and Mia are teenagers I really felt they were much older than they seemed. Lisa Voisin does a wonderful job illustrating the battle between Angels and Demons along with the battle between choosing love and lose. Overall, a wonderful Young Adult read. I would recommend this for anyone who loves a good love story, especially one with celestial challenges.
