Today I am bringing to you the second book in T. Gephart’s Power Station series. This is a wonderful rock romance. Though I am doing things a bit backward but you will soon be seeing my review of the her first book in this series too, High Strung. This series is reminiscent of Kylie Scott’s Stage Dive series and Michelle A. Valentine’s Black Falcon series. If you’re a fan of either of them you will love this series. Both funny and romantic fun wrapped up into a heartfelt story. For my full review be sure to check out the bottom of the post.
RELEASE DAY BLITZ
Title: Crash Ride
Series: Power Station #2
Author: T. Gephart
Release Date: February 19, 2015
SYNOPSIS
Megan Winters had lusted over Troy Harris, drummer for international rock band Power Station, for years. Not being the type of girl who was invited backstage, her fantasies had stayed just that, fantasies. When her best friend unexpectedly starts dating one of the other band members it puts her on a crash course at war with her libido. Her solution— they need to have sex. Surely once she had scratched that itch, and saw the fantasy didn’t live up to the reality she could move on. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
Troy Harris vowed to stay away from Megs. The sexy, smart and funny blonde left his mind and his body feeling like a pretzel. No matter how attracted he was to her, she was a no-go zone. The best friend of his best friend’s girlfriend? Cue the reality show. But when she gives him the chance to have a one-night no strings good time, there was no way he could turn that down. Maybe she was right. One night, and then they could go back to being just friends.
Both of them were delusional.
Book two of the Power Station series.

AUTHOR BIO
T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.
T’s approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience.
With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.
While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have traveled extensively throughout the US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley, the wonder dog.
An avid reader, T became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify with, someone strong, independent and confident and who didn’t lack femininity. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past “colorful” experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who don’t have to sacrifice their femininity. She enjoyed the process so much that when it was over she couldn’t let it go.
T loves to travel, laugh and surround herself with colorful characters. This inevitably spills into her writing and makes for an interesting journey – she is well and truly enjoying the ride!
Based on her life experiences, T has plenty of material for her books and has a wealth of ideas to keep you all enthralled.

Review:
Megan is a superfan of Power Station. So, when her friend introduces her to Dan, Troy and Jase she goes a little crazy. Immediately her infatuation with drummer Troy intensifies and her attraction is increased tenfold. For Troy, meeting Megan for the first time he finds her sexy and funny. But most of all he wants her in his bed. The problem is that Troy and Megs best friends are dating and that is a big no-no in Troy’s world. Months go by and Troy and Megs become friends and barely hold back their increasing mutual attraction. That is until Megs gives Troy a proposition that he can’t refuse. So, a one time fling turns into something they try to fight and hide from their friends. Eventually their attraction blows up in their face and its up to them if they finally embrace their feelings for each other or let the best thing in their lives pass them by.
I adored this book. It was a un-put-downable book. Troy was the perfect hero in this book. He looks tough but in reality he is a big teddy bear. He is what all women want in their fantasy men. A man who is a sex god, funny, hot and a good guy. If you can’t guess I have a new book boyfriend in Troy Harris. Unfortunately for me he is completely taken by Megs. Megs’ character was a great fit with Troy. She is equally funny and many times she had balance issues on stilettos that break your neck but of course makes her hotter for wearing them even if she ends up on her ass after a few drinks. Though Troy and Megs were fantastic I think the side characters of their best friends really added to this story. Dan and Ashlyn brought more jokes and gave a real feel to what Troy and Megs felt while hiding things from their friends. This definitely was one of the best rock star romances that I have read. With this one the characters carry you through the story and you really see them change both their minds and attitudes through the book. Overall, I would recommend this book if you are looking to pick up a new hot rock star romance. OH and I am calling dibs on Troy Harris. 🙂
