Coffee and a Review with Rowena’s Key by AJ Nuest

Sorry this is so late this week, but I am going to highlight your Thursday with Rowena’s Key by AJ Nuest.  I was really excited to get my hands on another book by AJ Nuest.  This time around she is entering the genre of paranormal romance.  She does a great job in this first book in her new series.  With this book AJ Nuest has definitely gotten herself a fan in me.  For my full review be sure to check it out after the book blurb.  I hope you all have an excellent week!

Review:

We meet Rowena when she is looking at her newest acquisition.  As an antique shop owner, Rowena is used to getting rare and sought after pieces of furniture, jewelry and any number of other antiquities.  But, when Rowena gets the armoire she has been searching for it is more than she expected.  Rowena finds that the ordinary piece of furniture isn’t really ordinary.  At first she thinks its her friend playing a trick on her with a very handsome actor.  But, when the armoire opens again with the same prince then Rowena begins to question her sanity until she accepts that her Prince and his world exists.  As Rowena and Prince Caedmon’s relationship grows the veil between the two worlds thins and a decision must be made.  Will Rowena choose to be with her prince or will she stay with her antiques?

This was a great short novel.  It’s the beginning of a great new series.  I loved the premise.  Rowena and Caedmon’s romance is so quick yet wonderful.  Also, Rowena’s friends were fantastic.  I hope we see more of Rowena’s friends but from the ending of the first novel I am unsure if that will happen.  Since reading AJ’s contemporary romance of She’s Got Dibs I have loved her writing style.  With her branching out into this new genre I think she’s going to see many more fans.  I know I am one and am so glad that she has asked me to review her books.  I know that anyone who picks up Rowena’s Key will be enthralled from the moment they open the book.  The characters, the story and the overall flow of the book will having you craving more and waiting with bated breath for the next installment.  I know I can’t wait for A.J Nuest’s next book whether it is a contemporary romance or a paranormal romance.  A.J Nuest definitely has a fan in me.
