Welcome to Friday and day two of our A New World series event. Snow Moon is the second book in this exciting series. This book picks up where we left off with Jessa and Mica. Only this book throws the two potential loves into more trouble only from people they thought they could trust. For my full review keep reading after the book blurb. Have an exciting weekend ahead!
Book Blurb:
Jessa, the queen of Faeries, finds herself in the midst of disappearances. When she investigates those who have vanished, she discovers a rogue Sylph. He is ridding the realm of the ones he believes are diseased with the help of Trolls.
Together, Micha and Jessa discover their bloodline is more than they thought. They are the descendants of Ancients and Sylphs making them the true Elementals. The very people the Sylph is wanting rid of.
If it wasn’t enough, trying to protect her people, Jessa is forced to let Micha go. She pushes him to go to the Ancients where he will be safe from the Sylph’s wrath.
When Jessa is convicted of meddling in the Sylph,s business, she is sentenced to death. Micha, accepting his new role as the Ancient king, wields their power and frees Jessa from the clutches of the Executioners.
Will Micha and Jessa save the Elementals, and themselves, or will the Sylph take control of the realms?
Review:
Jessa has finally settled into her role as Queen of the Faeries. With that she has also accepted that Micha is her true destined mate. Unfortunately, many oppose that decision. When Micha is threatened by the Sylphs he is forced into choosing to claim his own throne. Now that Micha is safe doesn’t necessarily ensure Jessa’s safety. There are many of those like her that are being hunted down and disappearing. With this mystery Jessa and Micha must decide who they will fight and who they will fight for.
With this second book in this series it really broadens the plot and the characters. Jessa and Micha grow with their experiences and become multi-dimensional. The story weaves expertly bringing the reader with it. For a second book this is truly great. It leaves just enough to leave you craving more. I guarentee you will want more when you turn that last page. Tonya Coffey has truly developed great characters and an intriguing world. If you have read Harvest Moon, the first in the series, you will definitely want to grab Snow Moon.
