A rakehell falls for a dangerous woman…
Surrendering to a fierce passion, the two embark on a torrid affair, even as Cosmo vows to protect his family at all costs. But in doing so, will he risk losing the captivating beauty who’s swept into his life and made off with his heart?
Review:
Mari Lamarre literally falls from the sky and lands on the very handsome Lord Cosmo Dunsmore. Her aim couldn’t have been more perfect. She is a parachutist with a hidden background. Though she has ulterior motives being on the Marquess’ land she can’t help herself when she begins to fall for the heir. Though she knows he’s a rake and could really jeopardize her true mission she can’t help falling for him and falling into his bed. But when all becomes known will she allow herself to risk everything or will the next fall be her last?
This was a truly fun read. I do like a good regency romance and this one had a lot of sexy times, suspense, mystery and lots of regency propriety. Spy Fall reminds me of the Naked series by Sally Mackenzie which happens to be one of my favorite in this genre. Mari and Cosmo are the perfect characters in this book. Mari is the the strong unique female for her times and Cosmo is the heir that doesn’t take anything but drink and women seriously. This is truly a fantastically fun summer read. If you are looking for a good bodice ripping novel for your vacation, look no further than Spy Fall by Diana Quincy.
