Hello Everyone! Yes, I am back from my long break. What better way to bring us all back together than with a series that I have been following. Mary Morgan has done it again with Dragon Knight’s Ring. Meggie and Adam are the couple who started this all and will have a chance to begin again if only they can fight the evil that is haunting them. For my full review keep reading after the book blurb. You will find that I have a lot of exciting reviews coming up. Be sure to stay tuned.
Book Blurb:
Crusader, Adam MacFhearguis is on one last quest to the standing stones in Scotland where he seeks to bury the past. However, a silent prayer sends him to an unknown future and to his beloved Meggie. When he uncovers a shocking revelation, Adam questions everything about the woman he thought he knew and loved. He may have traveled the veil of ages, but time is now his enemy.
Margaret MacKay lives a life in the future without the memories of her past—her death. When Adam arrives at her door confessing he knows her, she is confused and wary. With each passing day, she yearns to learn more from this stranger. Yet, when a truth is revealed, can she trust the man to unlock the chains from her mind and heart?
Will love free the bonds to unite the two lovers who were doomed centuries ago? Or will evil finally claim victory over the Dragon Knights?
Review:
Adam’s life has never been the same since Meggie’s death. He has been fighting his way through the crusades and found himself back to his home. When he finds he is a new Dragon Knight he flees again only to find himself flung to another time. Adam lands in the future to find a Meggie that is no longer dead and has no memory of him. He learns his job is to help her remember and to stop the ultimate evil from coming into the world and destroying the Dragon Knights. Can Meggie and Adam reunite and find the love they once had or will the evil destroy everything and threaten the future of the world.
This has been above and beyond my favorite of the Dragon Knights books. I adored that Meggie and Adam finally get their chance at their happy ending. Adam is one of the more unique characters. He is darker with the hurt of losing the love of his life. He also has the possibility for redemption like all of the Dragon Knights before him. Meggie was very fun. She was such an engaging character that really brought depth and emotion to this story. It has been fitting that the evil truly began with their love ending and with this story they have a chance to bring things to rights. Mary Morgan has done it again with her Dragon Knights. I can’t wait to see what she does next. If you haven’t read any of the Order of the Dragon Knights books I would suggest you begin now. It is a series you won’t want to miss.
