Review:

The only reason Lani came back was because of her grandmother’s funeral.  She had no intention to talk or interact with anyone except her family.  But, when she runs into her best friend she is pulled back into the world she left 8 years ago.  Brett can’t believe Lani is back.  All he wants to do is ask her why she left without a word 8 yrs ago.  His casanova ways will force them together on more than one level.  He is determined to make her stay.  She is determined to hate him forever.
I totally fell head over heels for this book.  Lani and Brett were great.  Their story was exciting, relatable and unique.  Their story had so many emotional depths.  The hurt they both unintentionally caused is what propelled the story to where it was.  Though Lani and Brett are awesome so are the rest of the characters.  Their addition brought a lot of comedy to a story that had the possibility to drag or be too emotional.  Emma Hart’s phenomenal story telling ability truly shines in Casanova.  If you are looking for a steamy romance with a bit of leftover teenage angst thrown in you will want to one-click this bad boy.
