Colbie needs to escape. What she doesn’t expect is to fall into a fountain and meet a gorgeous man on her first day. Spence is stuck on his project. Colbie is not what he had in mind for a distraction. Colbie regains her muse and Spence is even more distracted. They only have til Christmas Eve. What happens when in the end you want more than your time will allow? Will Colbie and Spence find their happily ever after in time?
I adored this book. This was my first Jill Shalvis book and I guarantee it won’t be my last. Colbie and Spence were two very complex and intellectual characters. These two similar characters both ignorant of complex emotions really made a romance book interesting. Not only are Colbie and Spence great characters but their friends and family really added a fun depth to a book that could have been a quick love story. Once these two find their way to each other they really steam up the pages. I couldn’t put this book down. I can’t wait to read the next Jill Shalvis book. If you haven’t read any of her books yet I guarantee you will not regret picking this one up.
