Review: Kneel by Eden Butler

Posted on February 6, 2018 by Jackie Paxson

Today I get to bring to you Eden Butler’s Kneel.  A rock god romance that will rip your heart out, put you back together only to tear you apart again.  This complex story set to the beat of a second chance love story for a rock god.  For my full review keep reading after the book blurb.

36246129Book Blurb:

Dash Justice wrote the songs everyone sings.

His face hangs on every girl’s wall. But Dash wasn’t always a rock God.

Once, he was just Jamie, the boy I loved.

But when my name, sung from his lips promised I was good for only one thing, all sweet thoughts of him die.

Now his excuses mean nothing. His apologies are weak and I’m about to show the world that even rock Gods can be brought to their knees.

Review:

Iris knew Dash Justice a long time ago.  She has no want to see him again.  That is until he brings her name in one of his songs.  Ruining her life and her career she is now out for retribution.  Making a deal with Dash Justice is like making a deal with the devil.  She  knows this is a dangerous deal.  A deal that could break her all over again.  Will she be able to see the boy she once knew or will Dash Justice destroy anything they ever had?

This was a really interesting rock story.  It is filled with angst, anger, eroticism and forgiveness.  Iris and Dash’s relationship is very complicated.  The only kind of complication that comes from knowing someone before they became who they are.  The two of them truly make this story.  Told from Iris’s point of view we don’t get to see Dash’s thoughts.  No matter how much you want to know what he is thinking you can’t know until the very end.  There will definitely be times you hate these two but keep reading.  I guarantee you will get wrapped up in it.
