Review:
It has been a year since Sutton lost the love of her life. She struggled alone with only a few people to understand her grief. David has been her steadfast friend for that year. But, he’s been hiding his feelings for her. Knowing Sutton is struggling he keeps his feelings distant. That is until Sutton realizes she wants more. As David and Sutton discover their feelings more than one trial crosses their path. Can the two of them survive the biggest trials or will everything crumble around them?
I love Sutton and David’s story so far. It is equal parts romantic and heartbreaking. K.A Linde knows how to weave a story that will draw you in, make you fall in love and break your heart. The story of the youngest Wright sibling is one we have all been looking forward to ever since we met her in The Wright Brother. I didn’t expect it to be as heartbreaking as it was. The grief comes emanating off the pages. But, with the grief comes the sweet with the love of David and Sutton’s friends, Anne and Jenny. I feel like this was the most relatable of books. Anyone who has ever felt the sting of loss will relate to this. I truly couldn’t put this book down until I hit the last page. With that last page the wind was knocked out of me and I wanted the next book immediately. If you have ever gotten your hands on a K.A Linde book you will know that she is one talented writer that will give you a book that will leave a mark. This is definitely one of them. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in Sutton’s story. I have no doubts it will also be memorable.
