Jade has had her heart broken before. As a wedding planner she is responsible for making other people’s happily ever afters come true. She doesn’t believe this will ever happen to her. That is until she meets Emmett. By accidentally hitting him with a stick she threw for her dog she finds herself intensely attracted to him. When they find each other at a bar later, she doesn’t expect him to accept the drunken proposal of hers. What happens when the one day proposal becomes more? Can two broken souls heal each other or will their reality crush them?

Jade and Emmett were addictive. Their attraction was palpable. Though their attraction came first and foremost it was definitely their dialogue and banter that helped to make this such a dynamic book. As the pages turned their characters became more and more complex. This added such a great dimension to the story. Along with them were their family and friends. Jasmine, Dean and Harrison really helped the story by bringing both drama and comedy. The added suspense of Emmett’s family’s plotting really made this book one addicting read that I couldn’t put down. I can’t wait for Jas and Dean’s story.
